BiteSizeQI is an instructional tool that uses short videos and user engagement concepts to teach clinical staff introductory quality improvement principles. By completing BiteSizeQI, users will better understand healthcare quality improvement, as well as have a plan of action of how to begin implementation of a project by utilizing their customized Project Blueprint.
Prepped is a mobile application that generates helpful, timely suggested questions for patients and caregivers to ask their clinical providers. The app uses a strength in numbers in approach - Prepped crowdsources questions submitted by national experts, patients, caregivers and other users to recommend the best questions for the patient based on the patient's profile and where they are in the disease process. Current versions of Prepped are focused on patients with cancer and/or COPD.
PCforMe™ uses interactive videos and gamification principles to educate both patients and caregivers about palliative care and the benefits of a palliative care consult. At the conclusion of PCforMe™, the tool generates a one-page handout - the Palliative Care Passport® - which serves as a summary document of the goals of the patient and virtual “roadmap” for the patient to guide the upcoming palliative care appointment to help achieve these goals.
